Personalised Custom Tattoo Design / ‘Skin Story’

This is a gift voucher for a loved one (or for yourself!) to create a Custom Tattoo Design for your own personal skin story.

Once purchased, you can download and print the voucher, adding the name of the recipient to the voucher. Or if you would like it emailed, please let me know and i can write in the name. This voucher is 20% less than the usual price of a custom tattoo design.

About the design process….

When you are ready to begin this project, please email the following information to me at ink.and.earth.1@gmail.com :

• Your ideas/story/why youd like a tattoo/what you’d like tattooed. Alongside any existing ideas you have, you are welcome to also consider the following questions:-
- Why do you want this tattoo?
- What do you want this to remind you of when you look at it?
- If tattoos are a reminding stamp from this current moment of time, what is it about now/ about yourself right now, that you want to remember?
- What do you see in yourself - or that you don’t yet see in yourself- that you’d like to bring out/ remember through this tattoo?

• The size and placement you have in mind for this tattoo. Sleeves and wraparound designs are not possible, due to them needing to be ‘freehand’ drawn onto the skin- therefore not possible to create from a pre-drawn stenciled design.

• Any pieces of mine that you are drawn to in particular. You can include screenshots from my website or IG - www.instagram.com/ink.and.earth

• If you already have an artist in mind who youd like to tattoo this, then please share this with me, but its no problem if you dont know.

I make sure to create a design which is possible for most tattooists to work with, usually with a mix of linework and a small amount of dotwork, which would be easy to create with a machine tattoo technique or by hand.

After you share your ideas with me I will respond with some sketches, and then ask for your feedback. We will then communicate throughout the process, developing from sketches into a final design, including any edits needed along the way. The more you share with me, the easier the design process flows, and the more personal the design will be for you. Anything you share with me will be confidential, and i will not ever share the meaning behind the tattoo publicly.
I aim to get the design completed within a month of starting, but please let me know if there is a certain date you would like it by and I’ll let you know if it’s possible.

The final design will be emailed on a white background to you once completed. This design is for you only, never to be repeated or sold again. I like to make them as personal and meaningful as possible, and will keep all stories and information shared between us only. 

This is for the design only. I am happy for you to take it elsewhere to be tattooed, or for me to tattoo it. When i open tattoo booking availability i make sure to put any custom design pieces at the top of the list.
